This air conditioned, 2 bedroom maisonette has 1 double bed, 2 twin beds and a double sofa bed with an extra pull out single bed, can sleep 7 in all. There is a well equipped kitchen and lounge/diner with Sky TV. Outside there is a patio with furniture and garden with sun lounger’s. It is situated close to the communal swimming pool, with a children’s play area, and also a few minutes walk to the new fantastic commercial centre. This has a variety of restaurants to choose from, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Italian, British and of course Spanish. There are 3 supermarkets and also a pretty sitting area with fountains and pools. The beautiful Carabassi beach is a few minutes drive away and has been voted as one of the best beaches in the World. There is a bus service which takes you into the heart of Alicante with it's bustling nightlife and superb shopping precincts, not forgetting the lovely promenade and marina. The closest town is Santa Pola, a busy fishing port, and a lively town
Gran Alacant is a purpose built residential area which is ideal for holidaying as everything is at hand, including banks, shops, medical centres etc. The area is ideal for many water sports, there are plenty of golf courses in the surrounding areas and lots of nature parks for walking. Historical towns of Santa Pola and Elche are close by and the beautiful city of Alicante is a must. Benidorm is 55 minutes by car, where you can visit one of the many theme parks, Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia and Mundomar. The Land Train Route (free bus) The train will make a complete circuit around Gran Alacant, stopping around the 7 centres. The route is nearly 10 km long and will take in total, with stops 60 min. It will take you on a journey to the exciting Market every Thursday, on a trip to tasty tapas and other international cuisine in the local restaurants, on a visit to a great variety of cafes and bars, shops and boutiques that sell local and international goods. The journey offers the most amazing views to enjoy on-route and takes you to our precious nature and bird reserve area.
